Coffee and Pulla
My second grad project, this book is "a nostalgic look at Finland's culture, landscape and language" through short, reflective stories interspersed between articles from a contemporary perspective. It inspired me to explore my cultural heritage and become more familiar with my family's history. The design was strongly influenced by emotional connections, Scandinavian design, and colourful photography. It was heavily based on research, which allowed me to contribute my own writings in addition to some photography. Closed: 6" x 9". 47 pages, hand-bound.

I am the lead designer at the David Suzuki Foundation where I work on a variety of projects to engage and increase supporters, and to communicate the importance of living within the limits of nature.
