your health
you are what you eat
It's how you feel, it's how you look, and it's how you live. Good health is a holistic thing: physical wellness, joy, and a good sense of well-being. Each kind contributes to the other, but it's easy to start with a healthy diet.
eat well, be informed
Studies have confirmed the
health
benefits of organic produce, ranging from higher levels of essential nutrients
to preventing absorption of carcinogenic pesticides. The "EPA [Environ-mental
Protection Agency] considers 60% of all herbicides, 90% of all fungicides, and
30% of all insecticides as potentially cancer-causing."

not just nutrition
Studies have shown that organic produce contains higher levels of essential nutrients and
anti-oxidants.
"[An] article published in “Coronary and Diabetic Care in the UK 2004” by the Association of Primary Care Groups and Trusts (UK) ... concluded that a predominantly organic diet:
- reduces the amount of toxic chemicals ingested;
- totally avoids GMOs [genetically modified organisms];
- reduces the amount of food additives and colourings;
- increases the amount of beneficial vitamins, minerals, EFAs [essential fatty acids] and antioxidants consumed;
- appears to have the potential to lower the incidence of common conditions such as cancer, coronary heart disease, allergies and hyperactivity in children."2

Be aware that microwaving produce can deteriorate its benefits; for example, microwaved broccoli loses up to 97% of its antioxidants!
